Trail riding is an exciting adventure, and there are so many unique and interesting skills to learn to be safe on your horse and on the trail!
This experience has two different events. First, we will do pony rides on Friday, June 12, for the younger girls. Then, on Saturday, June 13, we will have the older girls doing some hands-on training and then a trail ride.
At the older girls’ event, they will learn the basics of trail riding, horse care, and safety, as well as trail etiquette and horsemanship. They will practice on-ground horse handling and riding to gain confidence with a new equestrian friend before we head out on the trail.
Time will be coordinated with Julie after the list of girls’ and chaperones’ weights and ages, so we can match them with the right horse.
For each price option, purchase as many as you will have girls for each event. So if there will be 5 pony rides, please purchase 5 on that option, and then however many you have for the big girls.
