Thank you to everyone who has helped us support Myla and her passion for horse riding.

We are heartbroken to know that Myla has lost her battle with the brain tumor that she was diagnosed with only months ago.

Thanks to all of your support, Myla was able to ride with Caribou Creek Farms and her favorite horse Jasmine, from September 2025 to April 2026. Your donations funded at least 36 rides, but we lost count along the way since Myla was with Jasmine as much as she could possibly be.

Since April, Myla was not well enough to ride, but she still spent plenty of time Jasmine. For Myla’s last week, we brought Jasmine to Myla’s backyard, so they could be together until the end. On June 7, 2026 at 1:32pm, Myla took her final breaths and is now at peace and free from suffering.

We cannot imagine the pain Myla’s family is now going through, but we will miss her greatly, and we are so thankful for the opportunity to help Myla and we especially thank Myla’s family for trusting us with making this experience magical for Myla.

Sister’s on the Fly: New Sisters Round Up!

  • Join us for a New Sister Round Up and Trail Ride with Caribou Creek Farms. It will be a good ol’ fashioned BBQ picnic and cowgirl fun!

Join in the Round Up with Michelle Casteel, Sister #15876, North Idaho Wrangler, and Annie Croissant, Sister #1841, SOFT Director of Events, as we take a trail ride through North Idaho’s beautiful scenery at Farragut State Park and share a picnic, games, and lots of laughs.
